Daniel Cormier vs. Gary Frazier set for Strikeforce Challengers

Daniel CormierA heavyweight bout between fellow Oklahomans Daniel Cormier and Gary Frazier has been set for “Strikeforce Challengers: Kennedy vs. Cummings“.

The event is set to take place from the SpiritBank Event Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Friday, September 25, airing live on Showtime.

Both men will be making their professional debuts in the bout, and both hail from the area of the event. Cormier (currently training out of AKA), a two-time United States Olympian, and a six-time U.S. National Champion, put together a record of 117-10 while competing out of Oklahoma State University, while Frazier is a two-time state champion wrestler out of Oklahoma for Shawnee High.
