Full ADCC Barcelona Roster
The Abu Dhabi Combat Club is an invitation only no-gi grappling competition that is held once every two years. It is widely regarded as the submission fighting Olympics, with the very best grapplers from all areas of the globe being brought together to classify the most dangerous submission expert in each weight class.
The most recent edition of ADCC is set to take place in Barcelona, Spain, and will run through the dates of September 26-27.
While the event normally showcases a wide variety of mixed martial artists in pure submission competition, this season is easily the most star studded event in the promotion’s history.
Some of the male fighters you will easily recognize include names such as Urijah Faber, Ben Askren, Tom Lawlor, Dean Lister, Ricardo Arona, Vinny Magalhaes, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Fabricio Werdum, Tom Erickson, Jeff Monson and Gabriel Gonzaga.
A couple of the notable female mixed martial artists participating at ADCC Barcelona include Cris Cyborg and Megumi Fuji.
The superfight of the event will be between Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Robert Drysdale.

Ricco isnt in the +99 kg? I think either he went on a crazy diet or somebody got his weight mixed up.

Surprised to see Gonzaga and Faber in there. I thought that Zuzza would not allow their fighters to fight in other events. Even if it is grappling only.

I’m surprised that lw like matt serra and bj aren’t competing. They both have great BJJ. what about Marcus aurelio dude is a 4th degree blackbelt and is great at submissions. It just doesn’t transfer well into his MMA.

Nice to see the Zuffa guys here. I wish BJ, and GSP were in this, but I doubt Zuffa is going to let their champions do this, and i understand the decision. There are a few guys in this tourney, who could improve their MMA standings with a good showing. Rafael Davies comes to mind, he just came off a good win and a good showing here could help his prospects of getting picked up for the big time.

I would think Jake Shields would be on this list somewhere.
