“Cro Cop” Suspended Indefinitely for Medical Reasons
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has announced a list of medical suspensions resulting from UFC 103, and it’s a long one.
In fact, each of the event’s participants were issued some sort of layoff from action, though only one, Mirko Filipovic, received more than a month-long mandated break from competition. “Cro Cop” has been suspended indefinitely due to the eye-injury he sustained against Junior Dos Santos which ultimately forced the former member of Croatian Parliament to verbally submit in what will likely be his final appearance inside the Octagon.

I am surprised they did not suspend the refs, Bruce Buffer, Joe Rogan, Mike Goldberg, the judges, the cleaning crew, the corner men, the parking attendants, the concession stand workers, and Dana White!

Anybody who got ko’d is off for a month. Probably not a bad idea given the damage that can result from repeated concussions and the increased likelihood of another one right away.
After all those inside leg kicks, Emerson may not be able to walk for a month, so who cares whether he’s off for a week or so.

Hopefully Franca will come come back in better shape. I think the rust from not fighting and rehabbing the knee really got to him for this fight.

It would not be possible for Franca to come back is worse shape. He needs to immediately stop working at Krispy Kreme. It’s obvious that he is he having major trouble keeping his hands off the pastry.
Showing up in that condition was a disgrace.

Remember when Mir came back from his injury he looked terrible for his next three fights going 1-2. I will cut Franca some slack as the pressure to come back early and make money sometimes get fighters back sonner than they should be.

Cro Cop is a legend , and he should be respected for what he did for the sport and all the wars he was in that entertained millions of fans all over the world

no doubt about it Cro Cop is a legend and deserves all our respect for the great shows he put on and all the great knockouts that made us jump out our seats and continually hit rewind on our dvr. That being said he should retire now before he ends up like chuck and suffers 3 knockout loss’s in his last five fights.
