e-dub since you met tim when he competed at 205 do you think he is big enough to fight some of the better guys at 205?I know he’s not the tallest MW but he looks really solid and strong. He looks like he could possibly fight at 205 without problems and i would like to see him in there with a solid lhw.

Dunno Bully. He beat a guy who had previously won the HW division a year before that in the tourney. The guy he beat was a great wrestler who actually had Tim on his back in the early parts of the fight. As for him against any top comp at 205 Id have to say no. I think hes perfect for MW. Hes very solid at the weight and he has good power. I definately think he should make his mark at MW.

i was just curious.I think he does have a great future at MW and think it’s only a matter of time before he’s in the rankings.with a few wins over solid competition he will definately be a premier mw ,Thanks for the insight.

Longacre vs Colonic was a classic what a great fight.
Zak Cummings was a great replacement, tough guy but Kennedy is a bad ass.

Cormier didn’t really impress me honestly, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt considering it was his first MMA fight, but Frazier wasn’t bad at all for it being his first time also.
The thing that made him look bad was turning his back and running away a couple of times.
That was ridiculous and didn’t make a lot of sense because when he was just fighting and not running he more than held his own. He stopped Cormier’s take downs a couple of times and didn’t look bad throwing punches.
Cormier would be better served by fighting at like 230 or 235 than 250.
Miletich said he’s a short heavyweight and watching him he looked a little soft and could definitely drop 10 or 15 lbs.
Kennedy was the one who was really impressive he completely dominated Cummings and looked in great shape.
Would’ve been better if Cyborg hadn’t pulled out with injury, because Cummings did look a little over his head.
Kennedy now needs to move up in competition for his next fight against someone like Benji Radach or maybe Nick Diaz.
I know Miletich said he deserves a title shot against the Mayhem/Shields winner, but that seems to be a stretch.
Oh and how is it that Ray Sefo can train at X-treme Couture like he does with a lot of great wrestlers and he can’t stop a take down from a guy like Kevin Jordan who isn’t a great wrestler by any stretch? He might want to stick with Kickboxing if he can’t stop a take down from a marginal wrestler at best. Because that’s exactly what guys are going to do to him take him down.
Felt bad for Jordan the guy dominated the 1st rd. and most likely would’ve ended up winning a decision because I don’t think things were going to change and the guy’s knee goes out. Too bad.
