Talk about a no win situation. If he lost, he’s a laughingstock. If he didn’t win in a devastating fashion, it’s like he lost. He won by stoppage, Kimbo didn’t seem hurt in the slightest. I don’t think he intimidated anybody else in the house.

I take the opposite view….I think they’ve both been hinting at Big Country winnin this fight…..especially with that oops kimbo made about being at UFC 107 instead of the finale. It might not have been an oops though…Kimbo can talk smack and Im sure he and the Zuffa money machine have been makin sure he sells this season well

i cant either David. Did he not bite the bullet when he was getting yelled at by evans and his coachs? the guy looks like he is taken the high road and is just going to listen from now on. i can understand his argument about he has been doing MMA for a while and has his own way of doing things but i think he understod that he was there not only to win but to learn new areas of training that you might not get at your own gym. Good luck to him even though it already happened. I still have him winning in the 2nd

There is a great match between Roy Nelson and Frank Mir back in 2003 grapplers quest on you tube I just watched on TFN, I knew Roy was good but he owned Mir back before the accident.

I for the life of me can’t understand how anyone can dislike Roy Nelson.

I can kinda understand not knowing who he is if you only watch the UFC.

I can understand why people who don’t know his background could think he isn’t in shape.

But dislike him? I’m lost, I dont even recall him doing anything douchey. eh to each his own.

hyabusa, you know something we don’t?
I DID catch how Nelson casually mentioned “and then come to find out, that’s what he was doing. he was sandbagging” in reference to the sparring session. That leads me to think Nelson gets smacked a few times at the very least. I don’t really care for either of them but with this kind of build up how can I not be dying to find out what happens?!

ya fan he did make sense about Brock. And when doing so showed that he understands that in the end of the day its whats put $$$$ in the pockets and thats the main reason Brock is where he is now.

The guy sounds like a true pro at this game. I like how he does not throw Kimbo under the bus but turns it on Lessner, and makes a lot of sense doing it.
