He reneged because of the A-Team movie. He can piss and whine all he wants about respect, but he threw UFC under the bus. Perhaps I should say under the monster truck. With Rampage effects painted on the sides. I'd really be annoyed if I were White, because the TUF has given Rampage a lot of television exposure, which will help with the A-Team movie, but not TUF finale. If Kizer is playing politics with McCarthy, that's a shame. Just remember that vindictive little twerps like that might some day make decisions about your health care. Government officials and agencies are not always your friends. Belfort's title shot does make sense. Who knows whether he "deserves" it; that's pretty subjective. Silva beat Marquardt and Henderson decisively, so they can't bitch. If Belfort actually won, it would set up a re-match between Henderson and Belfort with the title on the line, and that would be huge for long-time fans. But on Machida's level he is not. His biggest assets in pride were his non stop motor, and using any appendage he could to to damage while his opponent was on his back. Both have been severly lacking in the UFC. This isnt surprising in as you alluded to earlier he cannot use his legs for ground and pound. Rua is a great fighter. But on Machida’s level he is not. If he shows up against Machida very weel trained and on he will pose a very serious threat, the fact that people are giving him very little chance to win here I think will only help motivate one of the better fighters the division has seen. I like both of these fighters and am very happy with the match making here as Rua isnt someone like Thiago Silva who rushes in but cant handle a few punches on the chin, I really think this is going to be a great teat for Machida.
