jim has 9 submissions out of 15 victories. a couple of the decisions were very close to submission finishes including even a ten-finger or guillotine or something at the 3rd round bell loss to franky edgar back in the day.

so most of his wins are not by decision.

most people agree these two are extremely exciting... win/loss, they both probably collect nice paychecks for fight of the night

Well Jim Miller has 2 TKO wins on his record, but one was a referee stoppage for a cut, and one was his recent fight where it was stopped from an injury. He has come close to KO'ing a few guys. He almost had Matt Wiman at the Fight Night event a while back, and he rocked Steve Lopez a few good ones. All in all though, I agree with Mike. Neither fighter has the power to KO the other, and I really wasn't that impressed when Tyson KO'd Hermes. Obviously if you are dumb enough to come in looking like Hermes did, and let yourself get punched in the face cleanly 30 times you are going to put him out. I was more surprised that it took Tyson like 89 shots until Hermes finally went to sleep.

I'm going to mark this in my book for FotN, and although Jim Miller is one of my favourite fighters, I have to give the edge to Tyson by exciting decision.

I've got mixed feelings about this one. Most of the wins for both fighters have been by decision, and most of their remaining wins are by submission. Tyson hasn't ko'd anybody since about 2006, and I don't think Miller has ever ko'd anybody as a pro. I'm sure there's going to be lots of action, but I'm less interested if there's no chance of a dramatic finish.

Good matchup. Almost seems like a back step for Griffin after he became the only person to stop Franca in a fight.

Cant wait to watch this one. Griffin took a loss to Edgar, and should have lost to Guida both of whom push the pace like Miller. This one should be fireworks.

ya I just read a quote by DW saying that "they (UFC) always get it done". Hendo would be a big loss though. Especially when he is the only fighter to take a round from the Spider.

Kevin Iole is reporting it, too, but he's isn't saying that Henderson has actually signed with Strikeforce. There may be some negotiating/posturing over money rather than a definite move by Henderson to Strikeforce.
