This is one of those situations where the weight difference just isn’t too big of an issue. I would figure Rogers should want nothing to do with Fedor on the ground or trying to clinch with him against the cage. Of course I’ve seen stranger things happen.

True that Vogairian, but those 32 pounds will matter if Rogers connects with Fedor’s chin. It’s a longshot, but a punchers chance is as good a chance as any against an animal like Fedor.

He is a big dude though and that can pose problems. I would not be at all surprised if they try and clinch, I can smell a sneaky game plan a mile away.

Fedor tosses big guys like rag dolls, but I really hope for a competive bout and not a one sided fedor whooping. Go Rogers! On another note does anyone see that Shields looks like he is definitely putting on size and Miller’s supposed size advantage isn’t seeming the case anymore. Go Curran too, that guy needs a win.

I watched the weigh in on HDNet… was that ever painfull. No back ground music to build up the hype, tons of unnecessary photo poses (even Mayhem was getting peeved), seemed to take forever to get the weight results to Jimmy Lennon Jr. Strikeforce has to learn to “up” the production value to build the momentum going into the fights… Like that 360 show – it doesn’t air here in Canada on CBS until 12:30 a.m. (Saturday). That’s the first airing of the show on its network – shame!
I just hope tomorrows event is more organised than the weigh-ins!

If Rogers stays off of the ground, keeps his chin down and doesn’t get over agressive I think Rogers has a chance.
