I love Shane, but man let me tell you ...he was getting beat up. Straight beat up, but showed a ton of heart and he remained calm and nailed his omoplata for the W. amazing.

cung lee is coming back? what effect does this have for sheilds and mayhem? cung was officially stripped of the title, right? why come back now that you are no longer the champ? everyone was waiting to see him defend the title, he walked away, and now returns? I’m surprised Dana didn’t jump on him immediately. or is he still under contract?

Gurgel always makes for an exiciting as hell fight, but man can he be frustrating to watch. You know how slick his jiu jitsu is, and people are always talking about how great his leg locks are, but he always gets too emotional when he fights. It looks like he thinks people will take it as a sign of weakness if he goes to the ground or something. He’s in a tough spot being 1 in 4 in his past fights because of how he gets into slug fests with better strikers than him.
