FiveOuncesofPain.com will be providing live results of Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers starting at 7pm ET. The event is taking place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
The event will air Live on CBS at 9pm ( on the East Coast) and is headlined by a main event featuring Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers. Also on the card a middleweight title fight between Jake Shields and Jason “Mayhem” Miller.
The three round bout between Emelianenko and Rogers will now hold the Russian’s WAMMA heavyweight title in the balance.

silva lets werdum get up, werdum w/ low kick, another kick. they clinch against the cage, silva throws werdum down, but lets him up.
big kick by silva, they exchange rt hands. they are clinched on the cage again,
silva w/ an elbow that hurt werdum, they are exchanging bombs. cliinched against the cage ,

touch gloves and wwerdum starts swinging but ends up on his butt on the mat.
Silva is standing over him on the ground, silva gets side control, but werdum gets out and has side control now.
silva scrambles and gets up, they are dancing now, wwerdum w/ a few leg kicks. they clinch and are against the cage. the crowd boos.
ref stopped it, and back to center of cage. werdum w/ kick, silva clinches again, they are back up against the cage. werdum gets the takedown, and is in half guard.
werdum has a knee bar in, and they are apart. silva got out of it. bell

werdum gets a leg and the takedown, he has silva’s back. out and back to standing clinch. sivla connects w/ a few good jabs. clinched again. werdum is holding a leg, but silva gets it lose.

another cup shot now, soko w/ a kickand goes for a takedown, but no go.
a little tit for tat going on, mousasi gets taken down now, he reverses and gets side control
fists to soko’s face
they get up an d now soko has mousasi’s neck in guillotine. he gets out

soko gets the takedwon and mousasi gets him down w/ a kick from the bottom

good judo counter by s but nice upkicks by mousasi and takedown. rd 1 hard to score but barely give it to mousasi

mousasi tees off on soko’s face, gets in a few good uppercuts. they are clinched again. they go down, and he is on top in half guard.
ref tells them to work, mousasi has an arm, but soko gets it free.
mousasi is on top now, throwing some g and p. Big shots, the ref tells terry to come on.
ref stops the fight because soko was not defending himself.

That was a good card overall and Brett Rogers proved he is for real. Fedor of course proved why he’s the best HW in the world, I was pumped watching this card and that fight.

Rogers was out skilled and out classed plain and simple and while Fedor was gracious in his comments Rogers just showed he is a bitch and has zero class in defeat.

Sorry if that’s fighter bashing but I just don’t like no class acts after suffering a huge loss to a really great fighter.
First time posting, long time lurker. I thought rogers acted like an elite fighter in saying that he mad a mistake and that cost him the bout. I was not a fan of his before this fight, but i have more respect for him by this showing, btw, I gave him NO CHANCE before the bout began, but found myself torn at the start of the second round. nice FREE card by strikeforce.
Yah I know eh, the commentator had to shut him right up. I always thought he came off like a meat head sometimes. You would think getting KO’d would teach you some respect.
Overall, all my picks were correct in almost all the ways I called them except Miller/Shields. I was really pulling for Miller but he seemed too content to fight off his back. It almost seemed like he was waiting all 25 minutes for Jake to gas himself out so he could take control.

Great card!!! Hope that they can make this work and be profitable. For their 1st show on major TV, thought it was pretty good, need to tighten it up a little, but overall great show.
1st chance to see Mousasi live and he is very impressive. If Dana is telling the truth and Henderson is signed by Strikeforce, that is igoing to be a hell of a fight.
Awesome card! I loved the main event! I have to admit I got the least bit of nervousness when Rogers was standing over Fedor dropping Bombs. However like mentioned before, Fedor shows why he is the dominate force that he is. UFC watch out.
