Patrick Cote vs. Alan Belcher likely for UFC 113
UFC:113 is scheduled to take place on May 1, 2010 from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Qubec, Canada. The card features a much anticipated rematch between light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and challenger Mauricio Rua.
As the event draws closer, the complete card continues to take shape at it now appears Canadian fighter Patrick Cote has been added to the card. Cote confirmed the news via his Twitter account this morning.
News of the fighter’s return was first reported by TopMMANews, who cited sources close to the fight. The reported opponent is Alan Belcher. The report states that bout agreements are signed and the fight is a go.
As of this posting the fight has not been announced or confirmed by the UFC.

Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua
Rashad Evans vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson
Jonathan Goulet vs. Marcus Davis
Patrick Cote vs. Alan Belcher
Super excited for 111 but this card could shape up to be just as good with those 2 rumored co- main events… Evans better come with his A game cause like him or not Jackson is def. looking to shut up DW, Evans and the fans… i think thats enough gas to fuel a fire for rampage

I hope Cote comes back strong because the last three guys coming back from knee injuries havent done very well(Franca-ko loss, Lauzon-decision beatdown loss, Hazlett-ko loss). I think this is a fight Cote wins for sure if he is 100%
Also Looking forward to seeing Marcus Davis back in action.

Just commented on how excited i am about seeing Anderson Silva and BJ Penn defending there titles on the same card… and now i have just seen this rumored card… Wow lol. We are seriously in for a treat if this card is after UFC 112… I am a HUGE fan of Shogun, so after the first fight i have been waiting eagerly for a concrete date for the rematch. UFC really seems to be pulling out the stops with these event announcements!

I always believed that Cote was overrated. If you remember the fight he had with Anderson Silva, he was just happy to be surviving the fight. Belcher is on a mission. Belcher will defeat Cote by Submission in round three.
