Last season they relied on Kimbo to carry the show and even after he lost they still shoved him in our face. Every teaser to every new episode was that Kimbo somehow got back in there. It was annoying but I knew what they were doing from a business side of things.

From what 5oz has reported so far, this season will be way different, They have confirmed some studs so far and more good names are sure to follow. It seems they are stacking this season with very experienced guys and that should make for some fun fights.

edub: yea it was pretty surprising to see the lack of cardio/gameplan from guys who had the most experienced records coming into the show… Ie schoonover, junk, and wessel. The only one who really held up was big roy.

At the same time, Darrill went up to heavyweight when he normally fights at Light Heavyweight. I'm sure the extra weight he put on didn't help his cardio out.

Is Noke the one that got flattened by Scott Smith in EXC a few years back?
If I remember correctly he's got a good ground game...
Nice addition..

Yes - TUF producers realized the gimmicks weren't going to work 2 seasons in a row so they actually selected a decent talent pool so that the fighting does the talking for the show not the could be's or what if's like last season... atleast we won't have to get jerked around with deceaving commercials that make you tune in to see something you know probably isn't going to happen anyway... looking forward to TUF11. Never really thought I would have said that after the disapointment of last season... hats off to UFC for turniing things around and realizing a change was needed.

In all seriousness this does look like a pretty good lineup this year. Maybe some actual talent in there.
