Production quality isn’t good enough for you? Not sure exactly what you mean be more specific because just going by what you see on TV Strikeforce events look much better to watch on television than UFC events.

As far as inferior commentary give me a break.
Rogan and Goldberg are horrible at least Shamrock has good analysis because he points things out from a fighters perspective.
Mauro is just to over the top he’s getting pretty bad but just about every MMA announcing team is horrible aside from Sean Wheelock and Jimmy Smith from M-1.

And I don’t know of any canceled fight because there wasn’t one.
There was a fight switched from the undercard that took place after the main card but nothing was canceled.
Sounds like you’re taking a shot at Reilly’s piece because you think it’s biased but sounds like to me your argument is swayed by your own bias.

I actually laughed out loud when I read this.

I think SF will continue to make waves in the MMA world, but in no way do I see them becoming “the big dogs on the block” in 2010. They’re just too new. The talent pool is good, but not deep. The production is okay, but not really great. And to be honest, the announcing/commentating sucks balls.

Gotta disagree here. Yes Walker gained his fame in a different manner, but he’s on the main card for the exact same reason Kimbo makes the main card: People pay to see names they recognize.

Nice story but a bit biased…

“Strikeforce also did justice to the Walker story by giving him an opponent who cared”- Yes Nagy cared enough to not even look at H. Walker when the ref went over the instructions and when they touch gloves… poor kid was terrified on a national stage- yes this was very productive for his full time MMA career. Hope he atleast got paid well.

I’m not bashing- everyones entitled to there opinions so that was mine.
