When was the last time Don Frye fought for UFC- 1996 or 97??, things may have been different over a decade ago through out the entire industry not just UFC, just maybe Zuffa didn’t take over till late 2000 /2001 ??

Bah….Dana has and shows respect for alot of his fighters. We just never see it because it isnt “good tv” Giving Phillipe Nover his pay even with him having a seizure the day of weigh ins shows respect and care or how about paying Dustin Hazelett a fight and win bonus when Karo dropped out? Dana is rough around the edges but he does care about his guys and it shows in the long run. If he didnt we’d have no one working for him and the best organization (yeah Nick, the best, period, end of story, no real debates you can cough up, no true dispute) would be defunct.

Now SF and m-1 show no respect for their fighters. Mousasi is their LHW champ and he made 2k to beat down Babalu. 2K?! He’d make more than that as an undercard fighter in the UFC. m-1 has their guys fighting on a regular basis which some of them want to do, but they don’t promote them (unless their name is Fedor) like they could. SF has been promoting their cards terribly and it shows. Their ratings should be WAY higher on broadcast tv but because they can’t release a card until 3 weeks to showtime, they can hardly make stars of anyone who isn’t already well known to us hardcore mma watchers or an ex ufc employee. I can tell you who’s main eventing all the upcoming UFC events and you know why? Because they promote better than everyone else. and if something goes wrong (injury, illness, visa problems) it’s covered. Best camerawork, best announce team(TEAM! Bas is the boss, but no one he sits in with is as good as he.) Best fighters(minus Fedor and Mousasi) best promotion

Don Frye: That’s the only reason I don’t watch the UFC’s, because Dana doesn’t show any respect to the sport or the fighters, so he’s not getting any of my damn money.
