Those lawyers are paid pretty good money and if someone causes you to have to use them for no reason, I would want their wages back as well. If they didn't ask for any compensation they'd basically be telling everyone else that it's alright to waste Zuffa's time and money on frivolous lawsuits and that could lead to a flood of pointless, expensive lawsuits.
