And hindsight, i was in that crowd and there was alot of booing but only when Bisping came out. Poor guy copped an absolute flogging from the Aussie crowd. Chants of “Bisping is a wanker” went on for most of the fight. Not to mention people in the crowd at the weigh ins trying to start him. He is a well hated man over here.

Please that the UFC gave George and Joe fight of the night, usually they would pick an entertaining yet sloppy slugfest (Bonnar/Kristof) over a grappling showcase. George did awesome, was really impressed by him, never stopped working for the subs, and his boxing was crisp too, landed a few nice punches. Joe was beaten all ends up. Would love to see George fight Nate Diaz, that would be super dope.Great sub from Chris Lyttle, havent seen anyone successfully try that rolling knee bar for years, cant remember seeing a decent one since the Pride days.Wonder if the doc let Anthony Perosh continue on with that cut because he’d stopped a decent fight earlier when Bonnar got cut. In regards to comment on Wanderlei, i understand what you mean, of course he isnt back, and he probebly will never fight how he used to fight. However i think that it is probebly for the better. If he continues to take all the risks he used to take, he will just continue losing. I think he fought an excellent fight against Bisping, wasnt his most exciting fight, but he fought smarter than he usually does, and actually paced himself ! I think he actually was playing it safe to be honest, which isnt like Wandy i know, but he REALLY needed a win, and he ensured he got the win. Also i actually think that flurry was all he needed to do the whole fight and he probebly would have finished Bisping, but as i said he probebly was playing it safe. Maybe after a few wins at MW, he will probebly get more comfortable and start unloading a little bit more. Anyway, i am extremely happy that Wandy actually got a win, over a good fighter. You could see how happy he was after the fight lol.

I definetly agree with your comment about Bader , he needs to sort out that wild swinging technique as he is continuing to work his way up the LHW ladder, because as you said, he will get caught big time against a more proficient striker, or infact any good counter fighter.

Anyways, fantastic event in Australia, was genuinly an extremely exciting UFC debut in Aus, i can only imagine the atmosphere there! It sounded crazy!

I say Cain vs. loser of Carin/Mir, then a tittle shot. He moves so quick it is unreal. His striking is very crisp in my opinion. He might be a mean bastard, but he’s a skilled fighter.

Was at the event yesterday and speaking to a few people that said Perosh was actually training with Cro Cop for his fight against Rothwell. After Rothwell pulled out, Perosh was the only real local fighter that could fill in on such short notice. As they were training together, could be a reason why Cro Cop didn’t for blood.

I won’t go overboard on my praise for Cain because I have been well documented on my thoughts about him. He has now got to be the true #1 contender for the HW belt.

Stevenson showed again why he will never be a contender, He just can’t seem to adapt his game and falls back to his old ways everytime.

Bader was good against a guy in Jardine that is tough to fight whether you like him or hate him.

The axe murderer won a good fight looked crisp and didnt take any bad chances, I like Bisping and I can tell you he will be back in the mix in the next year or so.

Lethal Liquid: George didn’t finish Joe like Kenny did. Let’s not lose perspective just yet.

We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one because I’ve always thought that Kenny set up his choke with one of the most obvious fence grabs I’ve ever seen. Joe Daddy had Kenny on his shoulders ready to throw his face into the mat but Kenny grabbed the fence hard enough to wind up on top and from there it was only a matter of time until he got Joe. In the Rashad/Ortiz fight a point was taken away for just that but in Stevenson/KenFlo I don’t even know if there was a warning when a point def should have been take away. I’m not hating on Kenny since I know he wasn’t trying to cheat, and it was just natural reaction to grab out t the fence, but it is hat it is.

George dominated Stevenson in every single aspect of the fight, and the only person so far who has done that is BJ. Let’s also not forget that this Joe Daddy was much better than KenFlo’s Joe Daddy as well. Overall Sotiro’s win impressed me way more than Kenny’s did.

Wandi is back!!!! and smarter, he never lost composure and only bezerked in the last twenty seconds of each round. Once he gets really adjusted at 185, i see some great fights. Him Vs. Nate has me drooling!

Sotiropolous was outstanding and I cant wait to see him fight Guida, Sherk, Edgar, Maynard, Kenflo etc…. He’s ever improving and ever impressive.

Cro Cop didnt want to beat up Perosh like a can and it showed as soon as he cut him. Props to Perosh for hangin as long as he could and props for Cro Cop bein with us at least one more fight.

Now the worst topic of the board. Keith Jardine is probably being shown the door and if not its comin soon. Horribly sad as when he shows up confident in his movement and awkward style he wins fights most would bet against him. Last night he never looked like he wanted to bring it with the exception of the first minute of the third. Once the first leg kick hurt Bader he should’ve really laid those on him as Bader couldn’t get anywhere on the ground against him. I think Keith beat himself and that sucks.

It was kinda funny to ask him why the ref stopped the fight as the ref pulled Jardine’s twisted leg out from underneath him though.

OH and Lytle should change his moniker to “The measuring stick” though I doubt we’ll see him fight for a title unless they do another comeback show with him on it, it seems like if you can get through him you have a chance at WW success in the UFC and if not, well you won’t.
