K.J. Noons returns at DREAM 13 to take on Andre “Dida” Amade

Former EliteXC lightweight title holder K.J. Noons will be making his return to action at DREAM 13 where he will face off with fellow striker, Andre “Dida” Amade.

DREAM recently made the b out official along with match-ups featuring Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Jimmy Ambriz, Ryo Chonan vs. Andrews Nakahara and Katsunori Kikuno vs. Kuniyoshi Hironaka.

Also official for the card is the featherweight title bout first reported by FiveOuncesofPain.com between Bibiano Fernandes and Joachim Jansen.

DREAM 13 is set for March 22 from Yokohama, Japan.

Noons last appearance came back in June of 2008 where he knocked out Yves Edwards in the first round of “EliteXC: Return of the King”, while Dida is currently riding a three fight loss streak with the most recent defeat coming at the hands of Katsunori Kikuno during DREAM 10 in July of 2009.

I hope Dida can make this a competitive fight. I’ll be stoked if it gets out of the first round.

Looking forward to watching Hell Boy fight again. At least there is one intereseting fight on an other wise lack-luster card.

Guess boxing didn’t work out to well for him.

I wonder if he remembers that he gave up being a champ in MMA and is now another guy who has to work his way up to the top again.

Hopefully he’s getting better advice now.
