But I agree,WEC always puts on great cards and Saturday was awesome, the Jorgensen finish was sweet, feet kickin' in midair and all!!! The show was very unpredictable and it set up fights that an hour before showtime, I didn't know I wanted to see, or thought I would see. I want them to get UFC/WEC together, with all weightclasses weekly on primetime TV, with each week rotating between main events in each weight class, either contenders or championship fights, with undercards showcasing up and comers in various weightclasses. With some good sponsorship, It could be done, but it would have to be centralized like the NFL. The other promotions would have to be minor leagues, with the top stars all in one place for it to work. The competition model is just not working, the talent pool isn't big enough. Look at football, pros vs college. The pros are one, and college is a clusterfuck of people saying they are better but didn't get the chance/money/exposure, sound familiar?
