Chad Hinton vs. Daniel Straus set for Bellator 23

The previously undefeated Chad Hinton will be looking to bounce back from the sole defeat of his career with an impressive showing in a lightweight showdown against fellow Cincinatti based fighter Daniel Straus at Bellator 23.

News of the bout was first reported by MMAJunkie’s Dan Stupp via the Dayton Daily News.

Bellator 24 takes place at the Fourth Street Live! entertainment complex in Louisville, Kentucky on June 24. The event will be broadcast live Thursday evening on FOX Sports Net, along with highlight shows that air on Saturday evening’s on NBC, Telemundo and Mun2.

Hinton (6-1) was handed the first defeat in his career via kneebar at the hands of Roger Huerta during Bellator 13 in his previous outing, while Straus (10-3) is currently riding a 7-fight win streak.

    I would like to see Bellator come to NJ next season… hopefully by then NYC will be legit, that would be awesome… but if not I’ll take NJ.

    Hope they come to Sacramento as well Rece. I guess I’d settle for the Bay Area.

    Hinton looked really good against Huerta. Hinton is a huge muscle ridden dude with some skills, though he is getting to the upper end of the age range. I’m sure he’ll crush the shit out of this guy they found for him.

    Hinton is one tough SOB-Yeah it’s time for Bellator to bring their class act to the west coast-I believe you get the most out of any athletic competitor when you guarantee them a championship chance
