Neither Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro and Justin Wilcox will share a significant size advantage over the other when the headlining 155ers meet in the ring, as Ribeiro came in at 155.6 pounds with Wilcox weighing 155 on the dot. Ribeiro is 20-4 overall, but has dropped three of his last four fights and will be looking to have his hands raised for the first after an eighteen-month drought from victory. “The Silverback” has fared far better than the highly-respected Brazilian as of late, winning four straight including three inside the Strikeforce cage.
Lithuanian kickboxer Marius Zaromskis checked in a little more than two pounds heavier than his opponent at 171 lbs., though it remains to be seen if the small differential will assist in breaking a two-fight skid Zaromskis is currently riding. Waachim Spiritwolf, who the knockout specialist will face in a main card pairing, will compete for the third time in three months at tonight’s show with his most recent outing involving a decision loss to undfeated lightweight contender Billy Evangelista.
Fans can tune in to see the action starting at 11:00 PM EST on Showtime.
