The After Party – The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale
The Ultimate Fighter Finale is always one of the most anticipated events of the year. After watching fighters compete inside the Octagon and act like idiots in the house for twelve weeks, you become invested in them. TUF Finales have produced such memorable fights as Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar 1, Clay Guida vs. Roger Huerta, and Diego Sanchez vs. Clay Guida. This particular event may not have... Ken Florian has withdrawn from the “Fight for the Troops” event scheduled for January 22 at Fort Hood in Texas after sustaining an injury to his knee while training on Monday. While it is not yet known if the damage will require surgery to repair, it will at least keep Five Ounces’ #8 lightweight out of action for the first few months of 2011. Josh Kosckeck: “I don’t need motivation from GSP to want to kick his ass.”
For six weeks during the filming of The Ultimate Fighter 12, Josh Koscheck and Georges St. Pierre saw each other every day in the gym. Season-winner Jonathan Brookins tops list of TUF 12 Finale suspensions
Based on the disposition displayed by Jonathan Brookins on the Ultimate Fighter 12 it seems probable the season’s champion would prefer to get back in the cage as soon as possible rather than sit back and rest on his laurels. However, Brookins’ return to the ring may not occur until the middle of next year according to the list of medical suspensions issued by the Nevada State Athletic Commission... [Read More...]

Those hoping to see a formal pairing between Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Strikeforce welterweight champ Nick Diaz, as opposed to the title-holder’s involvement in a post-fight attack on Miller this past April, will apparently have to wait at little longer for the match-up to materialize if it in fact ever does come to fruition.
