With coaches Brock Lesnar and Junior dos Santos locked in place, as well as a format featuring welterweights and absent an “elimination” round, TUF 13 has begun to take final form with the only remaining mystery involving the fourteen individuals competing for the honor of being named this season’s champ.
Make that thirteen.
It appears 10-2 Tony Ferguson has thrown his name in the hat and will be one of the men mixing it up in the house, and Octagon, when the Ultimate Fighter 13 airs starting in late March. Five Ounces of Pain was able to confirm his addition with a source close to the situation.
Ferguson has scored TKOs in his last three fights including a victory over Brock Jardine this past September. Nine of his ten total wins have come by way of a finishing performance. Additionally, the amount of activity involved in the Ultimate Fighter environment shouldn’t phase Ferguson, as he appears comfortable with the necessary grind based on seven in-ring appearances in 2009.
