UFC 130 gets greenlight as all fighters make weight

The UFC returns to their home-base of Las Vegas this weekend with an event featuring three former company, two Ultimate Fighter season winners, champs and a number of bouts involving current contenders. Headlined by Quinton “Rampage” Jackson taking on rising 205er Matt Hamill in hopes of solidifying a shot a Jon Jones’ light heavyweight title, UFC 130 has something for everyone as far as striking, wrestling, and BJJ goes including a bout between Frank Mir and Roy Nelson in addition to pairings like Brian Stann vs. Jorge Santiago, Rick Story vs. Thiago Alves, and Miguel Torres vs. Demetrious Johnson.

All twenty men set to scrap will stepped on the scale with all making weight meaning the event will go on as scheduled.

Jackson and Hamill shared a tense moment on the stage after weighing in during the staredown, even going forehead-to-forehead, but separated before things progressed any further. In stark contrast to their serious tone, Nelson donned pigtails tied with ribbons for his part in the weigh-in en route to coming a pound shy of the heavyweight limit.

Fans can catch all the live UFC 130 action tomorrow night through Facebook (7:00 PM EST), Spike TV (8:00 PM EST), and PPV (9:00 PM EST).
