Bellator 46 lineup finalized with addition of local talent

Bellator Fighting Championships returns to the Sunshine State next weekend for the seventh time in promotional history when the initial leg of their Summer Series starts with Bellator 46 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Highlighted by the quarterfinal round of a featherweight tournament, the event will also feature a number of notable fighters from the area whose names should definitely register with MMA enthusiasts across the land.

Bellator confirmed the five preliminary pairings set for June 25 earlier today through a press release.

Joining the headlining 145ers on the card, Ultimate Fighter 7 alumnus Dan Cramer will take on Josh Samman with both fighters hoping to earn a spot in Bellator’s upcoming middleweight tournament.

Cramer’s ATT teammate Jessica Aguilar will also take to the cage next Saturday night with Bellator veteran Carla Esparza, while former KOTC heavyweight champ Tony Johnson Jr. throws down with heavy-handed Derek Lewis, Moyses Gabin battles Dave Baggett, and rising prospect Matt McCook mixes it up with Alexandre “Popo” Bezerra.
