UFC releases preview for UFC 137
UFC 136 is freshly behind in the rear view mirror and the largest MMA organization in the world has wasted little time promoting UFC 137, another major event taking place at the end of the month. Company officials released the first promotional video for the event headlined by welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre once again looking to defend his belt against the always dangerous Carlos Condit. Also featured in the video are welterweights B.J. Penn and Nick Diaz, who are slated to scrap in the co-main event of the evening.
UFC 137 promises to be one of the most exciting cards of the year as not only are four of the best welterweights in the world in action, but also on the card is a heavyweight showdown between Cheick Kongo and Matt Mitrione along with another heavyweight battle between Mirko Filipovic and Roy Nelson. Plus featherweight grappling expert Hatsu Hioki makes his UFC debut against George Roop to round out the PPV card.

I think this is Mirko’s last fight on his contract. With the slow dying of Japanese MMA, I think win or lose this will be Cro Cops last fight.

No Joke! Condit is the first apponent that has a reall shot at beating GSP (Serra doesn’t count LOL). Check out Condit’s past fights… tough dude with plenty of well rounded skills.
