UFC offers revealing look at lives of Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos

When thinking about the qualities one might find in a world class Mixed Martial Artist, especially those in the heavyweight division, words like “hardworking” or “ferocious” might spring to mind. However, as was recently shown on the UFC Primetime special attached to UFC on FOX 1, other crucial characteristics appear to be a solid support group at home and remembering your roots.

Though UFC champion Cain Velasquez and top contender Junior dos Santos, who face off in less than two weeks at the UFC’s historic debut on network television, were both shown training extremely hard in anticipation of their November 12 fight, the two hulking heavyweights also put a premium on time with friends/family as well as maintaining touch with their humble beginnings.

If you missed the show this past Sunday, the UFC has since been made available for public consumption through the internet. Enjoy!
