UFC kicking 2012 off with 24-hour marathon on FUEL TV

The UFC’s run on FUEL TV will kick-start on January 1 with a 24-hour marathon of UFC programming, including the debuts of five shows – UFC Reloaded 1, UFC Bad Blood: Liddell vs. Ortiz, UFC Champion’s Roundtable with Jay Glazer, UFC Unleashed, and UFC Ultimate Knockouts.

FUEL TV will also have weigh-ins for UFC 142: Aldo vs. Mendes, along with pre/post-fight interviews, preliminary cardsm and UFC Tonight, an official news and information show of the UFC.

“We’re beyond excited for the monster launch of the UFC on FUEL TV and can’t wait for the ball to drop on New Year’s so we can finally unveil all this incredible programming,” FUEL TV’s George Greenberg said.

UFC president Dana White, who was one of the chief architects behind the UFC and FOX Network coming together earlier this year, said, “We’re excited that FUEL TV will become the ultimate destination for UFC programming in 2012. If you’re a fan of the UFC, you’ve got to have FUEL TV.”

A live event is already planned for February 15 on FUEL TV with bouts including Diego Sanchez vs. Jake Ellenberger and Stefan Struve vs. Dave Herman.
