Brock Lesnar inks deal with Everlast

Former UFC heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar continues to be a force both inside and outside of the Octagon. With a #1 contender match on the horizon against Alistair Overeem, Lesnar’s pockets just got a little fatter.

Lesnar, a former WWE superstar, has signed an exclusive contract with Everlast to promote combat sports equipment. Lesnar’s next fight will be Friday, December 30 against Overeem in the main event of UFC 141 where his new sponsor should be on full display.

“Brock Lesnar’s combination of size, athleticism and elite wrestling ability is truly unmatched,” Everlast VP of Marketing and Products Matt Cowan said in a press release. “His strength, determination and individuality make him resonate with our brand ethos, and we are excited to welcome Brock to our storied family of champions.”

On the subject of Everlast equipment and representing the brand, Lesnar explained, “I’m truly excited to be a part of the Everlast family. Everlast’s MMA training equipment is the best in the industry. I’ve been able to take my training to a new level since installing their 30-foot competition cage at my DeathClutch gym. I look forward to a long and rewarding partnership with Everlast.”
