Kyle Noke will receive a shot at earning a UFC win in his native country of Australia this spring when UFC on FX 2 takes place from the Allphones Arena in Sydney. It also appears an opponent is already lined up, as news has surfaced stating Noke will take on Jared Hamman in a middleweight contest.
Noke will look to rebound from a submission loss at the hands of Ed Herman back in August, a defeat dropping The Ultimate Fighter veteran to 19-5-1 in his career.
Hamman, meanwhile, is also coming off a loss, having been knocked out by Constantinos Philipou at UFC 140 in December. Over his last six fight, Hamman has alternated wins and losses, posting a 3-3 mark, yet also turned in some highly entertaining performances even in defeat.
News of the match-up was first reported by MMACorner.
UFC on FX 2 is set for March 4 with a main event pitting Martin Kampmann against Thiago Alves. Also, the semifinal round matches in the tournament to crown the first UFC flyweight champion will take place on the card.
