Jason Young confirms UFC on Fuel 2 bout against Akira Corassani

It appears Jason Young will meet Akira Corassani at UFC on FUEL TV 2, a show taking place in Stockholm, Sweden. Though nothing official has been announced, Young went on Facebook today and posted the match-up.

Young, a native of England, will be trying to win his first UFC fight. After entering the Octagon on a two-fight win streak Young has dropped his previous two bouts, falling by decision to Michihiro Omigawa and Dustin Poirier.

Corassani was born in Sweden and will be making his UFC debut at the card. The colorful Corassani was a member of the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter where he lost in the semifinals.

The main event for UFC on FUEL TV 2 is set to be Antonio Rogerio Nogueira against Sweden’s own Alexander Gustafsson. It is believed Corassani-Young will take place on the preliminary portion of the card.
