Tony Ferguson-Dennis Hallman set for UFC on FOX 3

According to an official announcement from the UFC, Ultimate Fighter winner Tony Ferguson will meet Dennis Hallman at UFC on FOX 3 card. The show is set for May 5 from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Ferguson is 13-3 overall, having won his last two UFC fights after capturing the TUF 13 crown. Eight of his wins have come via knockout.

Hallman is one of the most experienced fighters in the UFC, posting a 51-14-2 mark in his career. Hallman has gone 4-5 over several stints inside the Octagon and holds two wins over UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes, both of which came via submission in a combined 37 seconds.

So far the only other bouts scheduled for the event are Jim Miller-Nate Diaz and John Dodson-Darren Uyenoyama. It was not announced where the Ferguson-Hallman bout would be slated though a spot on the prelims is likely.

The UFC brass must be pissed at Hallman for sure-Ferguson is going to murder him within a round-Most MMA fans don’t realize how much of a threat Tony represents-His striking is pinpoint accurate and his killer instinct is in full effect

I hope Hallman brings back the speedo. Anybody who’s willing to wear one of those on TV has a massive pair. And as I recall, they were on display that night.
