Tatsuya Kawajiri, Melvin Manhoef among many familiar names on ONE FC 3 lineup

One of the fastest-growing promotions in MMA has essentially finalized their next card and it looks to be a good one, featuring a number of competitors known to longtime fans of the sport.

According to an official announcement from Asian organization ONE FC, their March 31 card titled ONE FC: War of the Lions will be highlighted by appearances from Masakazu Imanari, Melvin Manhoef, and Tatsuya Kawajiri in addition to fights involving regional stars such as Eduard Folayang, Yuya Shirai, and Eddie Ng.

Though no opponent has surfaced yet for DREAM/PRIDE veteran Kawajiri, Manhoef takes on 11-2 former heavyweight Yoshiyuki Nakanishi, while leg-lock master Imanari clashes with unbeaten Filipino Kevin Belingon.

ONE FC has already created a reputation for itself in less than a year of existence by signing a deal with ESPN in Asia and implementing a rule-set similar to that in the glory days of PRIDE.

Shark will always be the number 4 org in my eyes, Gike.

    J/K.

Imanari madness. Love it. They made the card by getting that whacky bastard. He is a character and a half, and he has a creepiness about him that is entertaining. His game is one sided, but no one wants to fuck around on the mat with him. Hopefully the no-namer who is fighting him can pull off a Melendez style sprawl and brawl fight, otherwise he’ll likely loose via sub.

Hoef is always fun to watch, especially when he gets KO’d.

Kawakiri……excellent fighter with a ton of energy who always brings it. Love the guy.

    Can’t wait!

You guys didn’t mention the broadcast medium though? Tell me is isn’t on fucking showtime because if it is I’ll kill my self, just after I drop kick my TV through the wall.

Not sure about the broadcast. I’m guessing there will be a relatively cheap stream available.
