Jim Hettes vs. Steven Siler scheduled for UFC on FX 4

Two of the featherweight division’s rising stars have been booked to face off at UFC on FX 4 in the form of Jim Hettes-Steven Siler, adding yet another intriguing match-up to the June 22 card. Both men are 2-0 inside the Octagon and coming off impressive performances against veteran competitors.

The UFC announced the match-up/location earlier today.

Hettes wowed fans in December when he picked apart always-tough Nam Phan at UFC 141 to improve his unbeaten record to 10-0. The Unanimous Decision victory marked the 24-year old’s first instance of success by way of the scorecards with the other nine wins involving submission stoppages.

Comparably, “Super” Siler pulled off a rare feat by beating Cole Miller earlier this month after having taken out Miller’s brother (Micah) in the qualifying round for TUF 14. He holds an overall mark of 20-9 including triumphs in six of his last seven outings.

UFC on FX 4 is headlined by lightweights Clay Guida-Gray Maynard with other scheduled scraps including Dan Miller-Ricardo Funch, Rick Story-Rich Attonito, and T.J. Waldburger-Brian Ebersole.
