UFC 145: Jones vs. Evans Weigh-In Results

Jon Jones and Rashad Evans came face-to-face for the final time before they step inside the Octagon Saturday in the main event of UFC 145 when both fighters stepped on the stage to weigh-in and hit their desired marks meaning the title-fight is official. Jones, the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion, came in right at 205, while Evans tipped the scale at 204.

Wouldnt take long for Jones to get to HW. Prolly weighs 230ish. Id like to see him fight a few more times at LHW and then go up when he is around 26.

I only saw the pictures that Dana/UFC posted on twitter, but the ones they showed in the staredown it looked like Rashad wouldn’t look Jones in the eyes

I imagine these guys were actually friends and after all this rubbish being dragged through the media and everything, both men ate prolly over it. Perhaps Rashad feels he may have been partially to blame for the falling out, who knows. Peoples real feelings dont always fit the script.

I am always amazed by the size difference between these two fighters. The craziest thing about this matchup is that it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that these two guys could one day be middle and heavyweight champs respectively.

That being said, i hope I’m able to remember this fight. Rugby game + social + UFC = long day till main event.

Which country do you support in rugby? If its Wales or England (I assume your NH) you are in for a good couple of years. Not so much with Ireland or Scotland. I guess you could be S.African, if so they are on the way up too. Chiefs fan myself and All Blacks.
    Enjoy your rugby game.
