Most notable in the quartet of competitors was Renato “Babalu” Sobral, a light heavyweight with roots in the UFC who also held the Strikeforce title during his stint in the promotion. The 36-9 veteran will face DREAM stand-out Tatsuya Mizuno who has won his last two fights and holds past victories over Melvin Manhoef as well as Trevor Prangley.
Also revealed for ONE FC 4: Destiny of Warriors, 25-10-2 Masakazu Imanari will look to build on his ONE FC 3 tap-out of Kevin Belingon when he takes on fellow master of the mat Leandro Issa. Issa is currently on a six-fight winning streak and owes seven of his nine total triumphs to submission stoppages.
More fights are expected to surface in the coming weeks. The show will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Stadium Negara.
