Erik Perez and John Albert will now meet at The Ultimate Fighter 15 Finale with Perez replacing Bryon Bloodworth.
Perez is a member of Jackson’s MMA in New Mexico where he trains under the watchful eye of Greg Jackson. The 22-year old has won five straight bouts, pushing his record to 10-4 overall, with all of the wins coming last year.
Meanwhile, Albert (7-2) has gone 1-1 in his two UFC fights since his time on The Ultimate Fighter 14. He was last seen falling to Ivan Menjivar via submission this past February.
MMAWeekly first reported the change in fight though no mention of why Bloodworth was pulled was given. The card is expected to feature a main event between Jake Ellenberger and Martin Kampmann with the show also hosting the final fight from the ongoing season of TUF.
