UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva likely gave his bosses a scare when rumors of a possible knee injury were reported. Silva and Chael Sonnen are scheduled to meet in one of the biggest rematches in MMA history on July 7 at UFC 148. The card takes place on pay-per-view from Las Vegas.
According to the report from Brazilian outlet GloboSporTV, “The Spider” suffered a minor knee injury in training for Sonnen. Silva defeated Sonnen in 2010 via fifth round submission.
However, by way of his Twitter account, Silva responded to the story, saying, “People my knee is doing very well thank you! Stay calm day on July 7 will be doing my job. OSSs.”
