Vitor Belfort has pins pulled out of injured hand, films the process

Vitor Belfort was knocked out of a main event meeting with Wanderlei Silva at UFC 147 due to a broken hand suffered in training.

Several weeks removed from going under the knife to repair the issue, “The Phenom” headed back to the doctor to have the surgically-inserted pins pulled out of his hand. And, with this being the social media age, Belfort decided to upload a video of the trip to Twitter for all of us to enjoy.

If you recently had a meal, you might want to pass on watching the video, which includes a pair of pliers, Belfort and a doctor.

Belfort’s return to the Octagon is currently unknown, though it doesn’t appear like he will rematch with Silva in the near future after “The Axe Murderer was defeated by Rich Franklin.

“Enjoy” the video in the player below for those who lack a squeamish stomach:

Well, I guess it’s safe to say Vitor’s (and Tim Kennedy’s) injuries were legit. Yeesh.
