Siyar Bahadurzada latest victim of UFC 149 injury bug

Rising prospect Siyar Bahadurzada will have to wait a little longer for his second UFC fight, as he has fallen victim to the injury buy that has ravaged the UFC 149 lineup.

As a result Bahadurzada has been removed from a planned bout with Chris Clements at the July 21 card from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In his place will step Matt Riddle. UFC officials confirmed the news via Twitter late Saturday evening.

Clements (11-4) was originally a replacement for Thiago Alves to face Bahadurzada (21-4-1). He has won five consecutive fights including a recent split decision over Keith Wisniewski.

Meanwhile, all nine of Riddle’s (6-3) professional appearances have come inside the Octagon. He ended a two-fight losing skid by topping Henry Martinez in his latest outing.
