Mike Easton ready to drown Ivan Menjivar in deep waters at UFC 148

One of the excellent match-ups slated for Saturday night at UFC 148 is unquestionably the bantamweight bout between Mike Easton and Ivan Menjivar. Easton is 12-1 and considered to be one of the division’s most intriguing prospects, while Menjivar is a seasoned veteran at 24-8 within sniffing distance of a title-shot.

UFC cameras recently stopped by Easton’s camp in Maryland to catch up with the 28-year old who happened to be in “Hulk” mode as he trained rather than that of the mild mannered Bruce Banner.

“You’re in for a fight. You’re in for a war, ya hear me? I’m ready. I’m in shape,” growled Easton after being asked about his meeting with Menjivar.

Later in the clip Easton shrugged off talk about Menjivar’s experience serving as an advantage, referring to the way a skilled deep sea diver would still fall victim to the ocean if left alone as Menjivar will be once the cage door closes.

“You see all this sweat right here? Ocean. I’ll take you way out to the deep, way out to the deep,” concluded an animated Easton.

Easton-Menjivar will serve as part of the main PPV card with the broadcast firing up at 10:00 PM EST.
