Bellator 72 Results: Paul Daley, Karl Amoussou impress

Bellator 72 featured the debut of Paul Daley, and a final in the welterweight division. And for those DirecTV subscribers, that deal with Viacom came at the right time, allowing them the opportunity to see the card.

Karl Amoussou emerged victorious in his bout against Bryan Baker, earning the right to square off against welterweight champion Ben Askren in the future. Amoussou scored the win by way of a beautiful inverted heel-hook in the opening round.

Daley, a former UFC and Strikeforce fighter, made his first appearance for Bellator against Rudy Bears, demolishing the veteran competitor with a series of stiff knees and punches to pick up a first-frame TKO.
