Kyle Kingsbury welcoming unbeaten Jimi Manuwa to the Octagon at UFC on Fuel 5

Undefeated prospect Jimi Manuwa will make his UFC debut in September, taking on Kyle Kingsbury.

The light heavyweights will be part of UFC on Fuel 5, which goes down September 29 from Nottingham, England’s Capital FM Arena. The Manuwa-Kingsbury bout is set for the prelim portion of the card.

UFC brass confirmed the fight earlier today.

Manuwa (11-0) recently signed on the dotted line to join the UFC from the England-based promotion BAMMA. He has earned nine first round stoppage victories and is also the current UCMMA light heavyweight champion.

Kingsbury (11-4) will be looking to rebound from a devastating knockout loss to Glover Teixeira earlier this year. The Ultimate Fighter alum has gone 4-3 inside the Octagon and could be fighting for his job come showtime.
