Ian McCall doesn’t like to sit on the sidelines for too long. After being knocked out of the UFC‘s title-determining flyweight tournament by Demetrious Johnson, McCall (11-3-1) was targeted for a meeting with John Moraga earlier this month. However, he was forced to withdraw for health-related reasons leaving “Uncle Creepy” currently on the mend with a minor knee injury.
Fortunately, McCall believes he will be ready to resume training soon and is targeting November for his next fight inside the Octagon.
“I say four more weeks for me to heal, then maybe two months at a training camp,” said McCall in a recent conversation with MMA Interviews. “I would love that…November would be perfect.”
The 28-year old also added his knee is “still loose” but he that he’ll “be okay”.
