Two heavy-handed light heavyweights have agreed to throw down on November 10 when the UFC stops in Macau, China in the form of a bout between Thiago Silva and Stanislav Nedkov. Each man has finished the bulk of the opponents he’s beaten, combining for 23 stoppages in 26 total wins.
Sherdog confirmed news of the bout with Silva’s manager, Glenn Robinson.
Silva (14-3) is looking to rebound from a loss to Alexander Gustafsson in his first fight back since a year-long suspension for steroid use. Prior to the stumble he’d found success against the likes of Houston Alexander and Keith Jardine.
Meanwhile, Nedkov (12-0) claimed a win in his UFC debut by stopping Luiz Cane last year. He was expected to return at UFC 142 but visa issues knocked him out of a fight with Fabio Maldonado.
