After some twists and turns the journey to UFC 153 has finally reached its destination with a lineup featuring two of the greatest competitors to ever grace the ring, Anderson Silva and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Silva, a dynamic champion at 185 pounds, is set to make his return to light heavyweight for a bout with TUF icon Stephan Bonnar, while “Minotauro” is scheduled to mix it up with BJJ-hater Dave Herman.
Before the fighters can square off in the Octagon they’ll have to win a weight-related war by stepping on the scale this afternoon at 3:00 PM EST in hopes of hitting their required marks. As usual, Five Ounces of Pain will be tuned in and reporting weights back to readers in real time as things unfold from the stage.
