Mike Pierce fighting Seth Baczynski at UFC on FX 6 after Kyle Noke pulls out due to injury

Recently it was revealed Australian welterweight Kyle Noke would no longer be able to fight in front of his countrymen at UFC on FX 6 after suffering an undisclosed injury while training for his bout with Seth Baczynski. Noke would have been looking for a second straight win in the Octagon after plastering Charlie Brenneman in less than a minute at UFC 152.

According to the UFC, Mike Pierce will slip into the spot left by Noke’s absence. The 15-5 Pierce has won two tilts in a row with the most recent involving a knockout of Aaron Simpson.

Baczynski has flown under the radar since returning to the UFC despite some solid success as of late, notching victories in a quartet of consecutive clashes under the organization’s banner. He holds an overall record of 18-8 with seventeen stoppages to his credit.

UFC on FX 6 is set to take place in the Queensland region of Australia, featuring the finals of TUF: UK vs. Australia as well as a bout between coaches George Sotiropoulos-Ross Pearson and a middleweight match-up between Rousimar Palhares-Hector Lombard.
