Two middleweights undoubtedly itching to get back in the Octagon and erase the taste of defeat have been booked for a bout at UFC on FOX 6 in the form of a fight featuring Rafael Natal-Magnus Cedenblad. Neither man has seen action in a number of months while both are also coming off losses, making the match-up even more important than it might normally be.
MMAJunkie was first to report the rumble’s addition to the January 26 lineup.
Natal (14-4-1) had his hopes for a three-fight winning streak dashed in July after suffering a knockout loss. Prior to the stumble he’d strung together a pair of wins under the UFC banner over Michael Kuiper and Paul Bradley.
Meanwhile, Cedenblad was submitted by Francis Carmont in front of the Swede’s countrymen at UFC on Fuel 2. He holds an overall record of 10-4 including nine stoppages.
