A likely “loser leaves town” tilt has been added to the Super Bowl Weekend lineup for UFC 157 in the form of a bout between welterweights Brock Jardine and Kenny Robertson. Both men have a reputation for scoring stoppages in the cage, though it could be a UFC career that’s finished come showtime considering neither fighters has found success thus far in the Octagon.
UFC officials announced the bout’s addition to the February 2 card.
The 9-2 Jardine made his UFC debut in June, dropping a Unanimous Decision to Rick Story. Prior to the stumble he’d won three straight fights with all involving a TKO/submission and two coming in less than thirty seconds.
Meanwhile, Robertson has fallen in both of his UFC appearances but won the other eleven outings he’s participated in. Ten of those victories have been procured before judges’ scorecards came into play.
