The final UFC card of 2012 is a day away from unfolding and the organization appears poised to deliver a healthy dose of fireworks a few days before welcoming in the New Year. Headlining UFC 155 is a title-fight between heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, two of the most talented big men to grace the Octagon in years. The two met once before in November 2011 where “Cigano” pounded out Velasquez in less than a minute after landing a perfectly-placed punch.
Before Dos Santos and Velasquez face off in the Octagon once again they’ll have to take care of the particulars by making weight. Though it shouldn’t be a problem for either, the same may not be true for other competitors slated to take to the cage on Saturday night.
Weigh-ins start today at 7:00 PM EST and Five Ounces of Pain will be tuned in to relay results back to readers as things unfold in real time.
