The lineup for UFC 158 grew today with the addition of a middleweight match-up featuring Ultimate Fighter 11 alumni Chris Camozzi and Nick Ring. The two never tussled on the show with each being forced to duck out during the competition due to injury.
UFC officials have confirmed the March 16 match-up.
Camozzi is currently on a three-fight run including an October outpointing of Luiz Cane. The streaking 26-year old holds an overall record of 18-5 with respectable wins in the past over the likes of Dongi Yang, Nick Catone, and Joey Villasenor.
The bout gives Ring another opportunity to fight in front of his fellow Canadians after being forced out of action at UFC 154 for health-related reasons. Ring (13-1) has won three of his four fights inside the Octagon with his most recent effort involving a decision victory over Court McGee.
